it was brought to my attention this morning -- and rightfully so -- that our generation takes advantage of our smorgasbord of commentary outlets... with networking sites taking our priority lists and blogs causing us to shun the good ol' pen and paper journal variety, our lives have become another notch on the google belt... we pour our hearts out on the world wide web and, if you're anything like me, think that only familiar faces ever stumble upon it...
ironically, i wrote a paper once on the blogging world... it is a known fact that more people read your rambling nonsense then you think, as surfing has become a common time-killer and in some cases, employers even do a little "background check" via search engine... unfortunately the line between updating friends on life's occurrences and possibly scorning someone have been significantly smudged...
i'll calm my brewing rant on censorship and freedom of speech and just admit that personal thoughts might not best be born into the public realm... but, be aware that i will still blog -- just that the juicy bits will be saved solely for my leather-bound companion... and this ain't no april fool's, folks...
