change of pace...

i just read a post on a friend's blog and it made me think...

only a few short months ago her and i spoke of leaving for the big apple... discovering ourselves in tall buildings, tall lattes and tall dreams of journalistic bliss... now i swim in the company of another that admittedly holds me back from wandering... i like to think that i stop him from his rambling ways as well...

at first it irked me to admit that i was seemingly making decisions for another... i used to shop for work all over the country -- and partly the world -- before he took me in his arms... now i know that there's nothing shameful about being a part of something that grounds me... sometimes seeing what's in your heart has a pretty damn good view of its own...
