the great outdoors...

after three weeks of constant complaining that i wanted to go swimming in order to cool my body from this humidity spell, i finally took in a few hours of aqua refreshment yesterday... a few of us took a trip out to rockwood conservation area for a dip in the "fresh" water, explored around the waterfalls and a sunbathing session on the packed beach... a park ranger warned us that if we jumped off the little cliff into the water bliss below we would be fined and ejected from the park... what a party pooper he was in his khaki outfit... nonetheless, we still managed to enjoy the sun's tender rays and gulp down a few beers on the sandy beach... steve martin and his cheaper by the dozen 2 cast were filming on location, but there were no celeb spottings... i was hoping to catch a glimpse of hilary duff and her stuff, damn it... cute kids, UV rays, beach towels and gatorade... what a weekend...
