feel the heat...

as the outdoors reached a sweltering 30+ degrees today, i had no choice but to bust my green snug halter dress out of my closet and go (gasp!) braless to work... i started off my day with a fitting summer strawberry smoothie from jugo juice in good ol' union station... the man at the cash said "summer is certainly here" with a polite morning smile... then i sauntered off to work in the morning heat of 21 degrees... the entertainment/photo editor stopped me in the mailroom to give me a much appreciated "great dress" compliment... it made the whole braless at work thing worth it...
for lunch i leisurely trotted up yonge st to bloor and visited my sweet friend kevin who is now a proud employee of h&m and swears he will update me on anything remotely appealing in the way of women's wear... i returned back to the office to finish transcribing an interview between my boss elio and julie delpy of before sunrise/sunset and waking life fame... then elio and i shot the shit about the b-list celebs of the ill-fated YTV hit catwalk... he just about lost it when i mentioned that atlas now has a head-honcho gig at the foxxxes den strip club in brampton... as i made my way to the subway station at 5:00 it hit me that this summer is already turning out to be something resembling a dream... so there was nothing better to do than absorb the sun's welcoming rays and hope that no one will pinch me anytime soon...
