today i called about two dozen different agents and publicists throughout los angeles and new york city... everyone from rosie o'donnell to quentin tarantino's people... i was updating our database of contact info for these very important people - although some don't exactly want you to be able to contact them and have very cold assistants...
as of the august 2005 issue i will be a published contributor in FLARE... i've been working on a patio directory that looks at some of the best patios across canada... it's a bittersweet gig though, seeing that it's barely over 10 degrees outside...
strange fact: who knew that 'sauga residents had so much FLARE? the old intern, senior features editor, beauty editor, style editor and myself all grew our childhood roots in this fine suburb...
next up: researching hot new dvds to be released in august, the artist behind beck's guero album cover and finding the perfect canadian celeb to grace the first page of the september issue's buzz section...
