ahhh... the long weekend... the beloved may 2-4...
bar was empty this weekend, i guess because people realized that it was a pleasant change for this may 2-4 to feature partly cloudy, gorgeous weather, unlike the past's frost or horrible rainfall... a slow night of work was eased with a few complimentary glasses of red wine, few but generous tips and an amaretto sour night cap...
for the first time in a week and a half, i enjoyed two luxurious days off... since the streets of streetsville have become quiet due to the holiday, i indulged in some bargain shopping and tended to my mom's homesick kitty... sunday = one sweetly priced gold belt, one affectionate little meow-meow and one amazing deal on a bcbg chocolate-wine coloured bikini...
tonight calls for fireworks before heading back to FLARE for another week of entertainment excitement...
countdown 'til my brother's wedding begins: 5 days to go... which means 4 days 'til phil arrives :)
