so close, yet so far...

talking on the phone with you just doesn't cut it... and a five hour drive just isn't in the cards for me right now... i think it's hitting me that the summer is truly upon us and the distance has set in... looking on the bright side - only a month until we see each other again...
the picture beside my bed freeze frames only one of the precious moments that swirl around in my head... i wonder when you think of me... when i cross your mind... emails and instant messaging have become a daily pleasure... and it was even more pleasurable to hear your voice again tonight...

absence makes the heart grow fonder...
