as fate would have it...

while taking a break from my last essay of the year, i decided to check my good ol' email inbox... and what to my tired eyes appears?!?! an email from FLARE!!!! although at the beginning of the week i swore i was not on reading terms with them after my internship heartbreak, i have been redeemed!!!! the entertainment and photo editor emailed me to say she had received my resume from my past interviewer and would like to meet with me about an intern position with that department!!!!

ok, breathe...

so my little affair with FLARE is far from over... i have another interview at the fashion mag on april 22 @ 10:30... must not wear same outfit; must impress them with my savvy entertainment knowledge... when a door closes, a window opens... i feel redeemed by the fact that not only does this mean my past interview was a success, but it was good enough to warrant the possibility of a different opportunity to come my way... everything is chalking up as great experience... maybe this second time will be a charm...

the grass just got a little greener...
