oscars, bitches...

in case you didn't know, i'm pretty much addicted to the oscars... each and every year since i've gone to university i've held an oscar party... $2 to guess the winners, pot luck, B.Y.O.B. = a bunch of great people gathered together to laugh, eat and shout when your picks take home the golden boy... and tonight, i won!!! well, i had to split the pot with hender, but i can live with that -- sort of, hehe... $16 in my pocket ain't too shabby...


veggies & dip, meatballs, sausage rolls, smartfood, chips and salsa, caeser salad, taco dip with ground turkey, homemade guacamole, spinach/feta/pine nut pizza, sunny-d, jello, worms in dirt (chocolate pudding with gummy worms), ju-jubes, pumpkin chocolate chip squares and erin's carefully crafted oscar cake... and if i'm forgetting anything in that list, it's because i'm sitting here so f-ing full right now that even thinking of food is painful...


i'm too tired to post right now about my fav dresses, so i'll save that for later... but i must mention that crash was definitely a surprise win... nonetheless, i still HAVE to see brokeback mountain...

the worst part about tonight is that it was the last oscar extravaganza i'll have -- well, at least in ottawa... thanks to everyone that came out... slap me sentimental, but it's one of my fav nights of the year...
