whoa... today was exhausting -- even though work-wise i was extremely unproductive... from barely waking up with eyes puffed shut, to ranting over pizza pizza, it was just one of those days... and although it was likely one of the hardest convos i've had in a long while, i think i managed to remedy some problems on the homefront... after grappling with a roomie situation, we got to the bottom of things tonight -- the human way, with tears, anger, "i love you"s, hugs and a large helping of understanding...
i spent my evening chowing down on an elgin st. diner feast of smoked meat poutine and a good ol' gab-fest with a great girlfriend, which always helps a sista out in need... and since she's loaned me he's just not that into you, i may not sleep a wink tonight, but end up being better for it... it already had me beaming on the bus en route to ma maison...
from there, a silly monkey email fed me a laugh... but ultimately, the little surprise pictured here took the cake... some kind words from a kind girl who noticed i was little down in the dumps... nothing says love like a barbie card, potted pink flowers and three yummy chocolate items... as the thunder and lightening echoes outdoors, i only wish i could wake jo (my sweet roomie and gift-giver), so we could pig out on chocolate and read passages from my new favourite book aloud...
ok, ok... so maybe my posts should stray away from the personal once again... i'll go back to random rambling nonsense before i start beginning each one with "dear diary", i promise...
