after lying flat on the floor for longer than i'd like to admit attempting to twist in the smallest screws known to man, my laptop is now back in full functioning order... it had crossed my mind to deal with the somewhat artistic cracks and bleeding that spread across the damaged screen, but then e-bay made wishes of repair much easier than once thought...
i never imagined i'd be so grateful for magnetic mini screwdrivers and an unusual personal reserve of patience... to know i dissected a piece of seemingly complicated technology and left it in better shape than when i began is both astounding and mentally energizing... however, after slightly sweating on my living room with cbc radio one humming in the background and a belly full of starbucks' cafe mocha, physically i'm feeling off-balanced and malnourished...
this is obviously why i'm usually impatient and less than handy... ugh...
