i realize already that this post sounds like all types of bonkers... i've taken comfort in conversing with a cat right now -- it being my only company -- as well as trying not to polish off a whole bottle of red wine in order to leave some for my handsome...
another pleasant meal had with my dearest aine... although salad king was high-pitched with bustling hungry city-folk, i managed to understand that she stood up for her values and sense of self today... although it nearly backfired and caused her to rethink her whole life's road to riches and respect, like the sparkplug she is, she came out feeling somewhat shiny and new... they grow 'em different out east... with skin thick as leather...
with a hand to hold, i wandered through the soft falling snow... another used bookstore sucked us in -- success found in a quirky copy of catcher in the rye and stunning book of karsh portraiture for him; a laughable book of hipster haiku for me... i leave you with a random selection, while i wait for him to return to me, out of the cold...
