fall fashion hype...

posts and posts ago i wrote about the buzz that prada would be working on a line for h&m... well, that doesn't really seem to be shaping up into anything other than a pipe dream... but, have no fear frugal fashionistas -- viktor & rolf have signed on to be the latest designers-gone-discount for the swedish retail haven... the line is set to drop in stores across 24 countries in november...

judging from one of the latest and most memorable shows by viktor & rolf, the h&m collection likely promises to be bold and unique... one of their runway shows of the not too distant past featured large pillow-like head gear and tori amos tickling the ivories, providing a live soundtrack for the models... they've also featured upside down couture that dazzled and bewildered the press... although, if the bargain line is anything like their recent fall/winter collection, my wallet and i are mucho excited...
