with a vacation, graduation and a few days off from the restaurant grind behind me, i've now begun to get the good ol' resume polished up and sent out... so far i've hit up four or so possible prospects with a tailored cover letter and resume attached... fingers crossed that in due time i'll be sporting heels and an oh-so-professional outfit to the depths of t.o. on my way to work...
for now though, i'm more than content working with some bold new friends and taking comfort in the tip cash bursting out of a white envelope hidden in my room... in fact, i blew some well-earned tips on a few flirty new tops the other day on a trip to the big city... a visit to queen st. fav, spoof, and some rack rummaging at h&m and i was six tops richer and only about $80 poorer...
retail cures all... and sunny days, $1 ice cream, plus some friendly laughs while enjoying a delicious lunch on a patio don't hurt either... resumes by day, recreation by night... sigh... summer is here...
