pomp and circumstance...

with only one shift of work under my belt since i've been back from the south, now i'm off to ottawa tomorrow morning bright and early... it's convocation time!!! i'm still not sure what exactly to wear under my robe and wonder just how long this ceremony is gonna last for -- but otherwise i'm stoked to head back to my old hometown... it'll be nice to see those familiar faces i'm so fond of once again... although i've been back in sauga for over a month now, it has yet to truly hit me that i won't be back to kick it with them come september... so the next two days are set to be filled with a bachelor of journalism degree certificate with high honours, maybe a little zaphod's and certainly some more memories to throw on the pile...

in other unrelated news: rachel and i definitely got hit on by two o.p.p. officers last night when we were innocently glancing through vacation pictures in rach's car... apparently when it came to their night shift, two twenty-something ladies were the call of duty... not only did they leave and come back twice, but they bummed a smoke and eventually jotted down our digits on their little troublemaker notepad... and no, they didn't get the cuffs out... get your mind out of the gutter...
