as much as i love canadian music, i did not watch the junos last night... which actually is a fairly accurate approach for someone that loves canadian music... after all, the junos only really recognize my favs in one category: alternative album of the year... otherwise it's a bunch of cookie-cutter products of canadian idol and celine dion up for a fan choice award... what??? and did anyone tell the junos peeps that the arcade fire album most certainly came out in 2004?!?!
but due to my love of red carpet fashions, i naturally perused the pics from last night's soiree -- and the outfit choices might have been even worse than the nominee picks... although, the biggest kick i got was out of a category tie... for international album of the year, both the black eyed peas and coldplay tied for the win... now, i'm just gonna go out on a limb here and attempt to make a connection between the fact that both of those overseas sensations agreed to play our canuck music party and both conveniently took home a statue... hmmm... interesting...
oh yeah, and apparently pam anderson's breasts are alive and well... and ben mulroney is still a tool...
