well, if my current situation tells me that i won't be spending much time in the office anymore, i decided to find another place to be: online... this weekend (thanks mostly to a frustrating head cold that rendered me borderline useless) i increased my presence in the world wide web... even though i ignore this blog enough as it is, i figured maybe motivation comes in numbers...
a quick cruise over to my friend and fellow blogger's site led me to a new way to communicate: tumblr... like blogs for the artistically-inclined, it allows and encourages audio, video, photos and quotes to be put on your site and shared with the world... it's more for snippets than posts... thus i promptly created my very own portal for all that i love and stumble across...
after a great deal of skepticism i also joined twitter... to be honest, i don't know if i completely get it, but it's touted as the most innovative new communication and networking tool on the web... how better to find out if that's even remotely true than by signing up?! so far my "tweets" have primarily touched on topics like my head cold, a david bowie lyric and my sunday morning hangover...
sooner or later my macbook will likely swallow me whole... this officially the beginning of the end...
