over the last couple of weeks i've learned a valuable lesson -- i am completely one of those people that gets off from going to an event way more than organizing one... i'm in the thick of making four days of art and music shows come to life, and it is partially driving me nuts... if it isn't one thing, it's another...
and while i know there are people that strive off the challenge and get giddy when people pat them on the back about a job well done, i'd rather just skip the producer bit and go to the shows as an audience member...
still, i guess there will be that fulfilling moment when all is said and done and -- if it does go off with a bang -- it'll be nice to hear the praise... but for now, i'll remain smitten with the notion that this is the last time my ambitions are sent into overdrive...
cue sigh of exhaustion...
