in many ways i don't even know how to put this post into words... i'm just so enraged by the sad state of celebrity these days... if it's not rehab or the consistent deterioration of a once bright star, it's the announcement of loss in the young entertainment world... admittedly, i click away at the gossip sites on a regular basis, but i'm becoming increasingly disgusted with it all...
why is it that fame is synonymous with a drug-induced living filled with poor choices and wrong turns? is there nothing else they could possibly spend their "hard-earned" dollars on? considering the majority of these pitiful stars are barely edging on 30 in some circumstances, it is simply unfortunate and leaves me feeling less and less sympathetic...
it is unbelievably ironic that many of us crave the heights of stardom, when those that have it in their grasp appear to crash and burn rather than soar off its energy... perhaps fifteen minutes of fame is all mankind can truly handle anymore...
