what the future holds...

as i near the end of my university career, it's intimidating to think where i'll end up... especially because right now i have no idea... i go through waves where i think it might be great -- not to mention stable -- to have a byline in a major newspaper, but is that what i want? one thing is for sure, i know that i have a passion for writing and i won't for one second toss that away for a cushy job with a sweet salary that doesn't challenge me, motivate me and is, bottom line, enjoyable...

sure, it'd be wonderful to the roam the streets in manolos one day as i make my way across a big city to my impossibly fresh and funky loft apartment, but maybe money never will buy me happiness... i don't think i could write for a publication i didn't believe in...

this sentiment leaves me with a open mind and a world of possibilities... or at least i hope it does... i'm not afraid to travel, to explore something different -- if anything, i welcome both of those options with open arms... life should never be about egos or longing to impress others all the time... it should be about living -- without trying to sound too cliche... seriously though, it might be a tough road ahead to strive to never settle, but in the end it might make me a hell of a lot stronger for it...
