when you're happy and you know it, clap your hands...

i should be happy... in fact, i should be dancing around, beaming from ear to ear, bursting at the seams to tell everyone that i am happy... i booked an interview with fashion television today... april 13th, 11:00 am @ the chum/city building in toronto... what is my problem??? this is fantastic...
i'm nervous... not for the interview, but because this will be the second time i'm venturing out to toronto, spending time and money to whisk myself in and out of the city, and i don't know if it'll mean anything in the long run... i'm supposed to hear from FLARE either this week or next... i hate waiting - and i'm worried i didn't get it... i'm psyching myself up so much that i don't know what to think... i admit that i'm being a little negative toward the whole situation, but it's hard... these interviews are two of the biggest things to happen to my journalism career (or lack there of)...
after a walk, some shopping and a talk, i think i've realized that the point is that if i don't pack up and go to toronto, i'll never have the chance to intern at FT... i couldn't pass up this opportunity, even if it means studying for my exams on the train and feeling exhausted... sometimes we need to make the moves that move us up... and sometimes we need to sit back and let decisions be made without worrying what the outcome will be... i've done my part; i've shown FLARE what i have to offer... hopefully they have something to offer me as well...
